Happy Feet

I went to the cinema this afternoon with Rosie. She had mentioned ages ago that she wanted to see Happy Feet so when we found out that there were going to be advanced previews we just had to go.

The film is about a group of penguins who, in order to find a mate, sing to each other. Singing is a large part of their culture. However when Mumble is hatched he finds that he can’t sing a note. However he can dance…

Featuring songs such as Boogie Wonderland, Leader of the Pack and Queen’s Somebody to Love this was very much a jukebox musical. Recognising the songs was half the fun of this film. Rosie was crying with laughter by the end.
