		<description>3 ways to remember who you meet at meetings:

1) When you meet the person, say their name back to them in greeting - speaking uses different parts of the brain and helps you to link the face with the name and remember it.

2) If it&#039;s a big meeting, draw a picture of the table on your note pad, and write their names around it where they are sat.

3) When you part, use the person&#039;s name again, it&#039;ll help you remember afterwards.

I do all three - I&#039;m still not very good at it, but I&#039;m better than I was :)

I met Alex Salmond once, current first minister of Scotland, and one of the most impressive things was that at the end of our meeting - an hour and a half or so - he could remember the name of everyone in the room.</description>
